My sympathies to you and your family for the loss of your father. How dare the police not allow you to have Ronja - I assume the police went into his home, they could have given your dad's cat to you. Bad enough you lost your dad but to leave you worrying on top of that about how Ronja was doing; I guess in Denmark it is not considered animal cruelty to leave a living being without food or water! Thank goodness you were able to get to Ronja in time. I agree, your father must be so happy that his furbaby is safe in your arms now. Take care to both of you.

I am sorry to hear of the loss your dad, and I am appalled that the police didn't make sure that Ronja was cared for, even if it happened over Easter.

We are usually on the dog board but this story pulled at our heart strings so much, we had to say something about you, sweetheart.
What an incredibly beautiful girl. We are so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. May he rest in peace, knowing that his precious friend is being cared for in a wonderful home. We can't imagine that the police could be so cold hearted. Congratulations on being our COTD, pretty girl. Please tell your new Mom to give you lots of kisses from us to celebrate.
