What a beautiful boy that Charlie is - and always will be. I'm so sorry that you had to let him go, but I admire your strength and wisdom to let him go now, before the cancer destroyed him any further. It's never an easy decision, and I believe that sometimes we hold on too long for our own selfish reasons - we just can't bring ourselves to let go when perhaps we should. Bless you for helping him to The Bridge now - I'm sure he loves you all the more for it.
RIP beautiful Charlie. Run free and find lots of new friends and adventures, and find a way to let Mom know that you're happy and waiting for the day that you'll be together again.
