We took our cat, Grady, to State 4 years ago for a fractured leg. It was beyond the expertise of our local Vet. Total cost was $1250. However, if we had taken him to the conglomerate in Southfield, it would have been twice that. Our Vet said State's price is lower because it is tax supported.

Whatever - we consider ourselves so lucky that we are so close to such a wonderful facility.
