I think it really helped when you explained that you both had the same Mama.

I'm convinced they understand more than we think.

Hi, Kitty Boo and Samantha! (One of my cat's nicknames is Boo -- whenever I call her that I think of you!) Look at the two of you getting along together. And hello, Giz! Are you on the counter? I won't tell Kisses for you and also for Amy

Yes, she is on the counter. That is HER counter although she thinks she owns them all. Remember, they are here 12 months out of the year, I am here only 6... So they DO own the house and have squatters rights..

I wish Cassie Cat wouldn't mind being on the kitchen counter. That way I could stand to trim the nails on her back paws -- easier on my back. Maya and Inka's Mommy's kitties are fans of the counter too. Maybe if I put a couple kitty treats on the counter and let her eat them right there. She loves to sit on the table when I am writing bills - and sometimes she will just sit on the table and keep an eye on the room, I think because she's off the floor up there. It is her flat - she's there 168 hours a week and I'm only there 130, sometimes less - and I am just there to sleep, eat, change clothes and look after her needs .
