What an awesome article! Kudos to that lady.

However, I was confused by this quote:

"The nicest thing you can do for those dogs is euthanasia," said Eric Sakach, director of the West Coast office of the Humane Society of the United States. "People who think you can rehabilitate these dogs are well-intentioned but naive."
Where did this come from?? Here this lady is working so hard, why would they quote something like that in this article?? Shame on them for saying something like that. Am I misunderstanding, or did I miss something?? That is so untrue, and that from the director of the Humane Society!?!?!?!?!?
