I have enjoyed both Tulip threads, Lut. Do you have a shot just looking across your yard? I'd love to just get a view of the whole thing from different angles, as if I were standing there in person. (Don't I wish??)

We have several two and three headed tulips this year but they've not bloomed yet. Here's one I found by the shop once.

Oh Lut, they are beautiful! And you have so many different types!
Have you ever been visited the Keukenhof park in the NL? If not you and Bernard should go, the best period is April of course, but it depends each year on the temperature and wheather. There are so many types of bulb flowers...
I searched for a thread I thought I made about my Keukenhof pictures, but apparently I never posted it!Early Alzheimer effect... in the coming days I will try to post some pictures in an album. I will let you know when it's available. This park is stunning, really!
Edited: the album is here: http://petoftheday.com/talk/album.php?albumid=135
These pictures will give you an overiview of the park and the field around.

Gorgeous! How do you keep deer from munching them, or are deer not a problem? I have to resort to chemical warfare (a product called Treeguard) to protect mine.

Wow, that's a beautiful one!!
Oh yes, we've been there 4 times already!!I hope to go back next year. Keukenhof is a 2 hours drive from our place. Those pics you took are fantastic Sonia!!Originally Posted by Sonia29
We always order special bulbs there. They send them to your home at the correct moment (=ready to plant immediately)
No wild deer around here! This region is to densely populated for these animals! But you can find them in the eastern part of Belgian, in a region called "The Ardennes". This region is hilly and has lots of forests.Originally Posted by smokey the elder
