Chihuahuas definitely have claws just like other dogs. If they're too long, the owner isn't keeping them trimmed. As a matter of fact, they're smaller claws and should be easier to trim(if it's not my Daisy). That is very very strange. I would have been taken aback by this too. I'm appalled that a vet would do this!! Poor little doggie.
