Chris, I don't recall how I found the blue collar but when I took the kitty to the vet, with it on, the vet decided to order some. When Lucy was spayed, I put a blue collar on her and she rather liked it! Although it was time to take it off, when Lucy saw the collar just sitting on the coffee table, she walked over to it and put her little black furry head in the center - ending up putting it back on herself! Go figure! She looked so proud of herself.

I suspect some animals would chew the collar to bits - but my gals didn't mind it at all. The hard plastic ones are also, often, too long or big. They don't need to be so big. I found the noise alone to be a bummer. Not to mention the damage to the walls and one's legs!

I hope the new blue one works for you and Bob. Maybe your vet doesn't know about them.

Hope Bob gets better soon. It is such a stressful time - when a pet is ill.
