    Autumn winds. Filou
    comes back under the cover
    from sleeping outside.

    Filou's wite sheepskin
    is now much more attractive
    than balcony chairs.

    My life is not bad
a sleeping cat in my lap,
    watching the sun set.

    give them the business...

    During a meeting,
    Officious talk abounds
    Cat hair on my sleeve
    ----------------------
    I drift off to think
About what my cat is doing
    While I sit here bored.
    ----------------------
    A half hearted ear
on the topic of the day-
    A smile in my heart.
    -----------------------
    I look at the clock
    and think about stroking my
    cat---not co-workers!!

    My new recliner
    Supports my sleeping feline
    I have to stand up.

    Asleep on his back
    Legs akimbo, he taunts me-
    "I'm comfortable, dad!"

    During his food break
    I reclaim my rightful place-
    "Ed, you can stand now!"

    I keep my feet warm
with cat food and cat treats-
    heat that’s 'cat produced'!
    -----------------------------------------

    My cat’s language
    is nothing but chirps, meows
    and LOTS of ‘cat love’!

    The hot spot..

    As winter sets in
    I awaken to warm paws
    climbing up my legs

    Looking for that spot
Where Edward can knead some bread
    then fall fast asleep.

I love this Richard. I will think of this the next time I see a cat hair on my sleeve while I am in an office meeting, rather than just dusting it off. We carry a little of them with us often, don't we. Thanks for this warm and "fuzzy" thought.

I pluck it and start to play with it.

Far more interesting than most of the topics and people in the room!

When Ed and I go to mom's house the Edster HAS to love her purse..

Mom: I'm gonna kill the BOTH OF YOU!

    Me: WHY?

Mom: I was at the bank and reached into my purse to get my wallet out and I look down. The counter is covered in cat hair....

    Oops!!!

A work meeting in the big room
    Roll in your own chairs
    Break for lunch, return
    Guess whose chair is mine
The one with the cat & dog hairs
    Of course

    This pillow is mine
I climb up and rest my head
    On her flowing hair

    ------------------------------------------------

    The foot of the bed
Is my little spot to sleep
    And watch over her

    -------------------------------------------------

    With voice loud and clear
I make my point known to her
    My bowl is empty

    GEOGRAPHY??

    No reindeers, no snow
    No freezing temperatures
    This can't be Lapland!

    No skis and no sleds
Only two warm thighs, a space
    for a real fast nap

    A place to climb on
A place to sleep the deepest,
    THAT is my LAP land!!
