Wow, my vet must be really reasonable. Morgan had the two week antibiotic injection last month when he had the bladder problems. It only cost $12 or $15.

Have you ever tried the pill pockets?

As any good Mommie would do, I went out and bought some different canned food. Boo ate more of it than the did the other stuff but didn't eat it all. Of coarse I had to give her more to (hopefully) hide the taste and I think that is why she didn't eat it all.. I usually give them about 1/2 teaspoon and she got about 2 tablespoons tonight.

I put in a syringe and she took that much easier than she ever has a pill. I would wrap her in a towel, turn her on her back and in went the liquid.
I have to much going on right now to have to deal with a cat bite. If I have anymore trouble, I will call and ask them if we can do that shot.. I can not risk getting bitten right now... He gave me Clindamycin to give her 75mg twice a day.

Clindamycin is supposed to taste vile. Fortunately Moby is easy to medicate; she just makes a face. Good luck with Boo.

Yes, it's bitter. I refrigerate it and it helps it to go down more easily.

Thanks Medusa, I will try that. I fixed it this morning and she got served in bed ..... She ate most of it and with encouragement from me, she finally ate it all.. Keeping fingers crossed that this keeps working....

Prayers and good thoughts and healing energies sent for Miss Boo and her ouchie toofie and her icky medicine.. That's great that you were able to get her to eat the food with the medicine in it this morning.

I'm sorry to hear about Boo's nasty tooth. Hopefully she'll continue to take her medicine without any more problems. Her tooth will probably need to be pulled and I hope that this will also go well. How old is she? Storm is 13 and last year he had a dental cleaning and had 2 teeth pulled without any problems. Good luck.

The picture of Boo and your great grandson sure is cute. She's got major airplane ears going on.
