I'm so sorry about Blue. He's such a pretty boy and it sucks so much that he's sick. (((HUGS))) to you and Blue; you'll be in my thoughts.

Blue will have to be checked by his vet to see if he could withstand the surgery. All organs must be functioning properly. Perhaps his vet can determine that he is sound enough to still have the surgery. What breed is he? Some breeds live to the early twenties. I have two senior girls myself. Delilah will be 10 this year and Daisy is 8.

Does his vet think it's too late? I hope you can have him around for alot longer. Best wishes for him.

There is always a chance,I would speak to another vet and see what could be done,My RB Anna was 13 years old when she had a tumor removed. She did fine through Surgery,And she lived for 6 months after,Mind you she did have Cancer,And in the end it was not the Cancer that we had to let her go,She lost her back end...

I wish you and Blue the best,And i wish you many more years with your Boy!
