If we had known earlier then a splenectomy could have been arranged. Right now he has bled out too much, his age seems to be affecting him more then it should be. If we went ahead with it chances are he would still die (possibly sooner) and he would only be able to enjoy a little quality of life, if any. I really want to do anything to make him better but sometimes the best way to help them is to make them comfortable.

Blue is seven years old, at age six (for his size) they are considered seniors.

He is still going strong, still smiles, still eats, still drinks, still goes to the washroom, still wants to cuddle and he is still going. Until it seems painful or seems to be too much we will let him live.
