Hmmm... I dont think Pharaoh or Iziban hounds are very common.. Definitely not here in the Midwest. Not sure about PR though.. I've always wanted a Pharaoh. I know someone on here (can't remember ID, sorry) has two Izibans... those are the only two I've ever 'seen'. =)

Ibizan also came to mind... it´s pretty common in Spain and thet regions.. not sure about Puerto Rico... but if I had to guess I´d say yes..
they are called Podenco.. and it can be Ibicenco (Ibizan) or Andaluz both from Spain regions Andalucia or Ibiza

Oooh, is he a Sato??? How neat! I don't think Pharaohs or Beezers are common over on Puerto Rico. I think that dog is just very very thoroughly mixed. If he's a Sato, he's probably 100% mutt and just happens to resemble a sighthound. I vote for probably GSD/husky/terrier/lots of other breeds.![]()
