Snapples has another wart on the same spot where the original one was surgically removed. It's still on her upper right eyelid. We went to the vet and we were told to just wait for a month and see what happens. A month! That will be a very long wait. Any suggestions / comments are welcome.
Thanks in advance.

Hmm... could it be similar to herpes of the eye? I don't know?
My friend's Border Collie pup had a wart on her lip, that continued to grow and grow. It was also described as a viral wart, probably from contact with other dogs. She went to the Vet, they simply aspirated it with a needle, and it hasn't come back (yet). I suppose it would be much harder to do that when the wart is on her eyelid. Is it irritating her eye at all? If not, I would just try not to worry about it and hope that it goes down.![]()
Hi All,
Ever since the last time I posted about the wart coming back, our vet prescribed "Azithromycin" for the wart instead of doing surgery on it since the wart was really huge. On top of that, a smaller one grew alongside the original one. The medicine was taken orally for 2 weeks.
2 weeks after the medicine was provided, the warts started to really dry up. Snapples accidentally bumped the warts and half of it fell off by itself. After a couple more weeks, the remaining half also fell off!!!
So far, the warts are gone for now and I really hope that they don't come back again.

I'm glad to find a thread about warts, because I just found a strange
bump on my Maggie's head. It felt like a tick or something. We saw the
Vet today & she says just keep a eye on it. If it grows in size I'll bring
Maggie back in. I can't believe I missed finding it before.
