I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Thank you my lovely, wonderful friends, for your concern! I know how hard it can be to worry about a pet other than your own, so I really, really appreciate it with all my

Whew! It's *only* a tear duct infection. Dr sweet, handsome, adorable, gave me hugs and kisses Dr Fox (he took care of RB Cody for 11+ years and cried his eyes out when Cody was PTS) said it wasn't serious, but needs attention. So Mz *I'll show you my teeth but not bite* Logan, is on prednisone ointment on her eyelid (first time was a breeze until she realized what was going on regardless of endless cookies) and antibiotics 2x a day until March 14, when she will have it *fixed*. She's also had a teeny weeny piece of skin on her inside lid forever, but it's not affected her cornea or vision, but they'll remove that too. And do her *talons*

Logan is already looking better since her 1st dose of antibiotic and cream. It doesn't seem to bother her now at all. She lets me stare at it and touch her eye, but the 2nd coating of ointment was difficult. She never ever bites, but moves away and bares her teethies to scare me, but she's a phoney baloney. Doc Fox said the only negative result is that her left eye may look slightly smaller than the other. That freaked me out. Logan has the biggest brown eyes ever and the longest lashes.

Anyway..*brag brag*, he couldn't believe the difference in her personality. A bit stressed, but she took treats from his hand, accepted his rubs, leaned against him. He loves her and I got another tight hug for doing a fantastic job on her! She was so good. Lots of praise and kisses.

Thanks again, all. Of course, I'm so grateful that it's not serious and it'sher 1st medical problem, other than hip dysplasia which isn't too bad with proper care. But, as you all know, I'll be beside myself until she out of surjury. I won't even go home to wait (no Klo in the house), but I will be in the room when they knock her out before operating.

    you guys.

I'm so glad Ms Logan did so well at the Vets. I hope the meds heal
up the eyelid. So, will the Vet remove the lump on the 14th?

I'm really glad to hear it's nothing serious. Feel better sweetheart!!

I can't stop laughing at the part about her being a phoney baloney.

The new sirjury date is March 4. That was the original date but I didn't want to wait until the afternoon and have her caged all day. There was a cancellation so she'll be #1. That's so much better. I think she's uncomfortable (looks like a huge red pimple or sty) 'cause I've had no problem with the ointment today. She's accepting it...that is until the chase is on...

Sorry I missed this thread, Karen! I know exactly how scary lumbs and bumps on our babies can be! I'm so glad that it's just a tear duct infection, which can be easily treated! (((HUGS))) to you and Logan!
