Thank you for posting this. I felt especially sad when I read of Socks' passing because I had rescued my tuxie RB Peeka at around the same time as Socks took up residence in the White House. They had very similar markings, the half moustache and the black under the chin. Socks lived 4 years longer than my Peeka did and I know that he had a wonderful life. RIP, sweet boy.

I'm sorry to hear that Socks has left us. He was such a handsome boy with his smart black and white outfit. He had a good life though and a long one.

RIP Socks, you were a great kitty ambassador, and so handsome! I'm sure you'll have many playmates at the Bridge - sleep and play well!

18 was the same age as my kitty Jamara who passed away eight years ago. It's a good, long, life.

And what a Handsome Cat Socks is, and in his day he raised a lot of money for the homeless cats and dogs in the many fund raisers , and the books he cowrote.
and at the Rainbow Bridge , I am betting that he and buddy will be friends at last, and together they will bring the Animal Angels into the White House for guided tours especially during the many banquets and state dinners.
And that they will be reunited with the Clintons in paradise.
