We've still got some time for Mardi Gras - but no one says you cannot start partying early!

Mardi Gras - Shrove Tuesday - is February 24th this year.

For Shrove Tuesday - not sure why - but we used to have a pancake dinner at the church. Pancakes, anyone?

I, for one, will resist the beads - one busted string and the orange kitty (formerly a blue kitten) will have a field day chasing beads everywhere!

As for me, in real life I am sick with a nasty cold, so just a nice cup of chai with honey, please.
