"I don't know which weapons will be used in the third World war, but in the fourth, it will be sticks and stones" --- Albert Einstein.
Wow! That is excellent! What a talented lady you are.
What everyone else said!! That is spectacular - and it's all free-hand.
Wow! I know you could do that with a colour pencil- but that you can translate it freehand into needlework impresses me very much.
Okay, I'm impressed...a lot!
That is really great, I don't think I ever thought about doing that.
She's very beauitful.

Thank you everyone
I did cheat a little.... I have a program that imports photos and turns them into patterns (I've had it for years and am shocked Vista doesn't have compatibility issues with it!)
However, I still spent a week editing the imported photo. The imported photo was a lot smoother but had a million colors to use and washed out all of his gorgeous brown. I had to edit it so the stitches made sense when stitched (if that makes sense?)
I am counting the stiches though, and believe me, I have gotten soooo lost a hundred times over on the forehead with all the blend of grey and tan.![]()
I can't wait to start on the next ones!![]()
That is really great that a program can do that for you. I know my mom would love that. She does cross-stiching as well.
