I hope the remaining two kitties pull through. But at least Ashes made it through this ordeal and you can get her back to good health and help her find the perfect home.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Bless you, no matter what happens Tracy, you have done all you can and are doing all you can.

I am angry at the person that dumped Ashes so young, or didn't get her spayed...and that this happened.

Praying for the preemies...miracles happen all the time and they have PT Prayers going for them.

I'm just seeing this now and my heart is broken. You've gone above and beyond for Ashes and her babies. Please know that all of you are in prayer.

RIP sweet little babies. You are loved! !

    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

With a sad heart I type this. The last two kittens passed away shortly after my last post. I meant to post earlier, but the day slipped away from me. The kit that was born last night, JR. passed away in my hands. I tried to keep him alive, but it was useless. The last kitten passed away just before my children got home from school. The vet told me they more than likely would not make it, but I was really hoping we could save at least one.

Ashes is doing well. She is still a bit sluggish, but after all she has been through, it is understood. She is eating and drinking....and ever so affectionate. I think she will do okay...or at least I am praying she will be.

I will post some pictures of her tomorrow. Thank you all for your support through all of this...it has been a rough day. I know in rescue this happens, but it does not make it easier. It still makes me so sad and think that maybe I could have done something different to keep her less stressed. I do know in my heart that I did do everything I was physically able to do to try and keep them alive.

    Thank you all again...very much.
