Just thought I'd update this and let you all know that Jade passed away on Valentine's Day, Feb. 14th.
His battle is over. He's pain-free and Linda seems to be doing well. He knew he wasn't going to be around long, so while paralyzed from the waist down in the hospital, he got together with his brother and had his brother buy Linda her Valentine's Day gift. He got her a beautiful necklace/bracelet/earring set with, you guessed it, a jade stone.
Rest in peace, Jade. We love you.

I'm sorry to hear of Jade's passing.
But what a sweet thing to do,My thoughts are with Linda.

Awwww, I have LES.That is so sad for Linda and the whole family. My friends FIL passed away on Valentines Day in 2006 and that holiday is not the same for them anymore.

I'm just now seeing this. I'm sad to hear of Jade's passing but glad that all physical pain is over. Now the healing for Linda begins and prayers are going up that the good memories, though brief, will be a comfort to her during her grief.
