Thanks for all the birthday wishes - it is wonderful to be remembered. Amy you are a great kid and I know how much you care even if you can't always express yourself outloud. You express yourself in so many other ways showing your dad and I how much you care.
Amy and Ralph and their furkids came down on Saturday and we celebrated both her and my birthday with them and Christy and the kids plus all the dogs who live here.
We went to my mom's on Sunday to see her for awhile. I took them a rhubarb pie - one of both her and my dad's favorites - so that is how we celebrated with them. It was so good to see her and not here her coughing so much and looking so much better that that was a birthday present in and of itself.
And tonight my sister and brother-in-law from Toledo came down and took us all out to dinner so it was a very nice day! Lots of cake and ice cream on both Saturday and today. Now I have to find an exercise program to take off the Christmas and birthday weight.
Carl has a day of vacation he has to take before Feb. 21 so we are going to Cincinnati for the weekend. I love to go to the used bookstores there and we may even go to a flea market. However, I don't think Carl will take me to the one that I got Tucker at - they have too many back yard breeder/small puppy mill places that I might be tempted at - Don't comment on this cause I know all about all the reasons I should not get a dog from any of them. Just being away from all the noise and hecticness at our house will be a gift.
