HOW did you hold your MatchStick House together???
No glue or anything! Trust me, it took a lot of patience, which sometimes I lack.

I started at 4:00pm on Saturday. First one fell apart in a half hour. Tried again, second one fell apart in about a half hour at the same point. Tried again. Third one was going smoothly, and I think I got overconfident and it started falling apart. I got up, walked around, sat back down to try and fix it...got frustrated so started walking aroud again. It was 6:30 at this point, I ended up throwing it down and breaking it completely. I called my mom and she laughed at me, I decided to give up for the night.

Sunday I sat down and actually had this one completely done in about an hour! I was so excited! I'm actually surprised at how sturdy it is. I want to see how many houses I can build with my 500 matches!

You need to find the local chapter of MSA = MatchSticks Anonymous!

They even have How To videos on the web >>>

Oh my gosh, I actually think I want to try this.
Wait, what am I thinking? A certain little dilute thing will probably not let me. She'd be right in the middle of it playing with the matches. And I couldn't allow a 9 month old to play with matches.

Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Ash I swear these should go in a modern art museum, those are awesome pictures. I love the little match house, and the saying on the box, I think it's so funny.

Wow, what patience you have, Ashley! But I guess I knew that from the way you have trained Jackie. I would have given up after the 1st one fell. Your pictures are all very creative. You need to send them to the matchbox company and maybe they will use them for advertising or something. (Do matchbox companies advertise?) I love the ones of the houses the best!
