I did bond with one. I call him my first love, Corey. The day I met him he was adopted... Which I guess is good but I still miss that boy. I guess it wasn't meant to be. The ones I love are never there long. We just got 21 puppies from down south from a kill shelter, our shelter works closely with an organization who brings pups up to NJ, NY, etc so they are not gassed. I will DEFINITELY be ADOPTING a dog! No breeders for us. My shelter has a great group of dogs so it will be easy to find a dog I love, I'm sure of it. I love all of them, but I haven't "clicked" with just one yet. I know it'll happen. I clicked with a two cats named Peanut and Slinky! They should be adopted soon they are wonderful, I hope they are adopted together they are best friends.
