We now have conflicting stories about just where Kujo might be and
where he's planning to bed down ...
Yesterday's Plan was:
Animal Charity will find home for Kujo the abandoned dog

Iams is teaming up with Animal Charity in nearby Mahoning County to help find Kujo a family.
Earlier this week, The Review shared the story of Kujo, a shepherd-boxer mix.
The dog was found outside a Washington Township residence,
huddled under a basement window, after being abandoned.
Wrapped tightly with care around his collar was a note written with a young hand,
"Hi. My name is Kujo. I am a nice dog. My owner can't feed me.
Please help me. I'm great with kids too."
It was ended with a sign of hope, an exclamation point with a smiley face and nose.
Heather Wilkins from Iams explained that the pet food company contacted Animal Charity,
which is one of its partners through its Home for the Holidays Web site.
Nicole Owen, chief executive officer of Animal Charity, explained due to the response
to Kujo's story that they stepped forward to handle the adoption,
as Good Samaritan Wanda Miller was getting overwhelmed with the inquiries.
Owen said representatives from Animal Charity will pick up Kujo this afternoon and
transport him to their Youngstown clinic, where he will receive a comprehensive
veterinary examination, shots and be neutered.
She expects it will be two weeks before Kujo may be ready for adoption.

But TODAY (Friday) a Cleveland, OH, TV station is airing this >>>
NewsNet5.com (as reported on MSNBC.com)
updated 3:00 pm
CLEVELAND - A dog that was abandoned with a note around its neck has found a new home.
The dog that is believed to be a boxer-shepherd mix was taken in by two Alliance women --
Wanda Martin and Cecilia Miller.
The note read, "Hi, my name is Kujo. I am a nice dog. My owner can't feed me.
Please help me. I'm great with kids too."
After Kujo's story received national attention,
Kujo will stay in Ohio with Martin's neighbors.
Martin let Kujo spend the night with her neighbor
before deciding that the home would be best for him.

"Animal Charity" is playing *dumm* about the whole thing
The Phone Girl "knows nothing, and can't speak about any current
cases;
and none of the Humane Agents are in."
I'll keep *sniffin*.

It must be overwhelming to these older ladies with all this attention.
I feel bad about that. As long as Kujo gets a good home with people who
will never abandon him again. He is very lucky for bedding down in the
right backyard.![]()

Cinder & Smoke, That does sound odd. I hope nobody is giving these women a hard time about Kujo.
