    This was long overdue.

    Gail Collins has a wonderful piece in the NY Times today, about Lilly Ledbetter and other women who have experienced similar discrimination over the years.

    The big caveat is that it is VERY difficult to find out what other people make. That is one of the most closely-guarded secrets in the business world. I'm so glad that the law got passed; enforcing it, due to the secrecy of pay scales, will not be easy, IMO.
