Awww, where do you always find these stories??
I'm just going to grab a tissue whenever I read any of your threads from now on.
That was so sweet. I hope Kujo find the perfect home!

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

What a nice story. I'm so glad there are still good people out there. I'm sure after that story there are a lot of people wanting Kujo. He is a cute guy.

This story has been all over the local news here (Alliance is only about an hour South of me)

The part that got me was when they said the note was written by a child and signed with a smiley face.

I'm SO happy this story has such a wonderful ending!!

Thanks for mentioning just where he is located, I wondered about that.

I loved seeing the the child's letter. It shows that the pup was loved.

So thankful the story had a happy ending, can't take much more of these abandonned dog stories. I did have to reach for kleenex when I read that the note was written by a youngster, how hard it must have been to leave the pet behind. At least they did save him from the streets and he has a good home now.

He sure does! I hope he finds a home with some little people who will love him like the big old teddy bear he is.

Lucky dog! It is sad that they felt they could only put him out in the cold, though.

The feral cat rescue group I was with, just had a 23 year old female cat turned in. Someone left her in a carrier, next to a dumpster. Just coincidence she was found in the evening; if left to morning, she would have frozen to death. So now she is in a foster home and looking for a furever home.

We need to have a better way for owners hitting hard times in this economy to place a pet!
