Certainly not! LOL But for an emetophobic, it's even worse than that. You'll have all the symptoms of a panic attack (trembling, sweating, nausea, hyperventilation et.) People would often say to me "well, nobody likes it, so what's the point?" But everyone's understanding as soon as an arachnophobic freaks out when he's spotting a spider...Is there anyone that likes the sound or the smell? HAHAHAHA Who knows there probably is.
Well, same here. A friend of mine has two kids, and they throw up all the time. Every time I talk to her, somebody in her family seems to have a stomach flu...I would not make a good mom.
When I was a child, I jumped out of the car when my sister vomited. Luckily, my father was already slowing down, so I didn't get injured. Needless to say, I got scolded by my parents for that. But I couldn't help it, I just had to get out of there, no matter what.I run for the hills.
So true! Until a couple of years ago, I was thinking the same. It was actually here at Pet Talk that somebody told me there's a name for it.Its actually nice to know that this is a legitimate phobia! I thought I was just being a complete wuss about it.
