Ah, such cute pictures of the dogs. Poor Cincy - she doesn't look too happy with that cone on! Ralph, am I going to have to call the humane society for inhumane care? Good thing Spot can run fast! I bet he stayed away from you the rest of the time! I don't have any pictures of ours in the snow. It has been too cold or I have been in Tiffin with mom. Oh, well with the cold I don't think the snow is going anywhere.

Cincy has those "puppy dog" eyes down pat. I'm glad she got to enjoy
her time outside in the snow. I don't have to worry about Spot getting hit
with a snow bomb. He's way to fast for that.LOL

Aw, she sure does look sorry for herself in those cone pics, different story out in the snow though.

    Lovely pictures, thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the nice comments everyone!

You are right, Spot doesn't get hit with much of the snow. And what little does hit him, flies right off as he races around the yard!

The next day, after the time playing the snow, Cincy had a little seepage from around the incision. We talked to the vet again and asked to be sure it was okay she was doing normal activites. At first he said yes, but made a comment that he didn't imagine she was that active. Obviously, he doesn't know Cincy at home!!! Once we explained, he retracted a little and said she should take it easier then normal. So, no more big plays in the snow the rest of the week.

And one week after surgery, the incision is looking really good! The lower part on the bend of her leg has been a tad slower to heal but it is loking good. THe upper part it is almost hard to tell where the incision is!

We have gone to the bite-not collar during the day while we can watch her, but nights and when we are gone it is still cone head! Stiches come out on Saturday!

Awe, poor girl! Smooches going out to you, Miss Cincy! You will be back to 100% in no time.

I love the pictures of the pups in the snow. How fun. I still have one very jealous husky mix. It snowed here Friday, but only enough to give us a dusting. I think Skylar would be beside himself with joy if he saw real snow.

Poor Cincy. I am glad she got some play time in the snow, though. They all seemed to have a good time. I hope she heals up fine.
