The sportswriters finally did it.

Something that's long overdue....

Voted Jim Rice into the HOF.

Hmmm..... Cooperstown is about 70 miles from here. Might be time to finally visit the place.

When someone like Rice, who ruled AL pitching staffs for years, almost fails to make it into the hall because he didn't play nice-nice with the idiots in the press, there's something wrong.

Your comment about finally going to Cooperstown reminds me of a call I was on with a computer tech guy, years ago. He was from Detroit and we were talking about landmarks and such...

I asked, 'Have you ever been to ---------?"

He laughed and said, "No, it's never been over to see me!"

Saturday night - ESPN Classic - 8pm - 10pm.

October 17, 2004, Game 4 of the ACLS between the Yankees and Red Sox. Sox lost the first 3 games.

Wait until the bottom of the 9th when it all turns around . . . . .
