    I hope you had a good day and that all the days to follow this year will be full of adventure and joy. That german chocolate cake with homemade ice-cream sounds soooooooooooo good!!! Have another piece for me please!

    It was a quiet day, on my birthday, and it was good. So, the world goes on, I go on, and hopefully the next year will be a better one financially and emotionally, lol.

    I have one more week left to my sabbatical, which was well worth the trouble it caused, but I'm happy to be going back to work. Things have been sorting themselves out and I'm feeling much happier about it all. Definitely a good step in the right direction!

    Now I just need some darn snow and my birthday will be complete!! I don't ask for much!

    (my big gift this year was a craftsman mobile tool chest with 5 drawers for all of my "independent/self sufficient woman" tools, lol).
