    8:30 pm Keegan Bulletin - She's HOME

    The BRD is HOME Again!!

NOT *Happie* --- but HOME and with a GOOD post-sir jury report!!

She has about a 2" Zipper and one less "fatty tumor - BENIGN".

Vet was positive it was harmless - but it's gone, so ebberbuddie can *breathe* again.

She's wearing a T-shirt at the moment, but has a desire to *LICK* the Zipper -
so the E-collar supplied by the clinic will probably be installed at bed tyme.

The really BAD news is NO snowball/tennieball chasing for 10 daze -
gonne be one mitey UN-happie BRD.

So, THANKS, God - and all the PTers who sent PT Prayers and Good Vibes -
    mission accomplished!

And WHY isn't Mz Staci spinnin this yarn ...
The NEW 'Puter isn't *quite* ready to roll ... one more setback and it might NEVER
    see the light of day!
Seems there's been a missing monitor to CPU cable problem - involving
MANY trips to/from Wally's World, several other vendors, and a finally
helpful guy who found a suitable adaptor.
All ready to hook-em-up - when our Fearless Puter Mom discovers the
Final Straw ... when returning the First Monitor ... the 'puter's AC Power Cord
jumped into the monitor box - and has been "returned" to Wally!

A verry UN-happie Miz Staci is now enroute back to Wally's Joint, to (hopefully)
find the original monitor - to remove it's "extra" power cord.

Consider it a very GOOD Sign if we hear from Keegan's Mom sometime tonight.

    Good Luck, Staci!!
Keegan - PLEASE behave tonight - Mom's about outta 'patience'!

    {{{Hugs}}}

I'm glad to hear that Keegan made it out of surgery ok! I'll be keeping you both in my thoughts (good luck with the computer!). I know how fun it is trying to keep them still...at least you don't have two other dogs wanting to play with her.

Just coming across this post now. I'm so glad to hear that Keegan came through with flying colors. Now if Staci's computer could be up and running as well.

    Thanks for the update Phred.

    hi all!
    what a day!
i have a happy girl here at home.
I have a new computer up and running and I ONLY went to walmart 4 times, staples once and best buy once.
    in 3 different towns!
    but alas
what's important is my BRD is FINE and doesn't have any sign of anything nasty.
it took 2 people to let me into the room - one holding the BRD and one holding the door open so she wouldn't go flying out of the door! especially when she heard my voice.
Head vet - whose known Keegan since a wee pup just shook his head and said - can't tell she's been under general anesthia today huh?
and said she did just great! had her teeth cleaned but that didn't take much they said - thanks to the raw diet.
right now she's wearing a boy's t-shirt that says "acting like I'm nice" found on the Christmas clearance rack at one of the many wally trips today - for the sum of $1.21!
thank you all for the prayers - we sure appreciate them!

Sorry I missed that Keegan had surgery. I don't get to dog general that often.

I'm glad she is acting happy and that she came out of surgery ok! Hope that they find the lump is nothing to be worried about.

Hugs to you, and to Keegan!

I'm glad to hear everything went well. Thank you Phred for the first update. Kudos on your bravery , Staci. Not only for getting through this so far but making so many trips to Wal-Mart!! What a nightmare. I'm glad that gorgeous girl is doing well. Best of luck in keeping her quiet. It's a big challenge for sure.

    Feel better Pretty Girl!! {{{{{HUGS}}}}}

Oh my ... there's gonna be an UNhappie BRD when she takes a peek out the
window and sees a huge BIG pile of *S*N*O*W* in the yard that she's
    not supposed to *romp* in.

How's the recovery process coming along?

The t-shirt is working beautifully! I took it off tonight to check the incision and wash the shirt.
She really wants to be out there of course but I have to be a mean mommy!
