For me, it'd have to be at the shelter where I volunteer. A lot of people are first time dog (or cat) owners and I can share my knowledge (a lot of that knowledge learned right here on Pet Talk ) with them. From crate training and potty training, to the best toys and beds. I also share my own experiences with people and the mistakes I've made and learned from (the hard way). And I like that we do not "force" people to purchase things at the boutique. I've sent plenty of people to the nearby pet store or Costco for items.
At the same time, I've learned different things from other people that come into the boutique as well. Things I can pass on to others.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Librairies , schools , and in senior retirement homes. Going to the programs where they hold sessions for kids with reading difficulties amazes most of the adults who see how much better the kids do when reading to an animal.
