Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

I just sent an email to the Bush's (at the White House) saying how sorry we are about their loss of India. It has been such fun to follow the antics of the Bush's pets over the last 8 years...We also had a beloved black cat who was named Billy that we said goodbye to last June, so we were especially interested in India. Presidential pets add a touch of an "everyman" quality to presidents and their families...Everyone loves animals, don't they???
Anyway, I am sorry for the Bush's...India was 18 years old, so she had been with them for a very long time. Apparently, one of the Bush's daughters, Barbara, named her. Bless them and bless India.![]()

I read this last night before I went to bed and said a prayer for sweet India. She lived a good, long life and now she's even happier at the Bridge. RIP, sweet girl.
Blessings,
Mary
