I love all your pictures and loved reading your FAQ's on Tamandua's.
And also happy that you made it clear how difficult it can be to care for these beautiful creatures and discourage people from getting them unless serious for life carers for this hard to find a vet and hard to make sure it gets the right food to keep him/her as healthy as possible.

It is hard work and a much needy pet.
sometimes people just jump into getting a (different type)pet for the 'fun' of it.
thank you for being so clear on the care for others to know that it is 'not' easy care.

This tamandua is in a perfect loving home and so very happy and well cared for.
your love shows in all your FAQ's and pictures.

Thank you. I plan to update the FAQ a bit eventually but the sight it's on will need to review revisions so it will be down for maybe a day when I do and I've got links to it all over the web. At least that's one of my excuses.

They are a lot of work and if you love them a lot of worry too. Especially in the beginning you have nothing to compare to what's normal, what's okay and what you may need to worry about and I started with a sick one. In making friends with another owner we've helped each other and I did more work on the diet and Pua is in fantastic shape now. I was always wanting to get more weight on her but couldn't keep her above 9 pounds. She's 17 now and others have used the diet and had similar results too.

I started on a much requested book but got stalled got to set aside some time to start working on it again.
