Wow, Kirsten! Your pictures should be in a book or on a calendar. You take such breathtaking pictures!

Thank you very much for your comments! I've waited for years to make some "winter photos", but there was barely snow and ice the last couple of years. LOL Now it all seems to come this winter! And Boy, it's cold!

Yesterday a friend and I went for another walk, and here are some of the pics I took. We walked the bank of a river that was actually frozen, which didn't happen for a long time here.

I felt so sorry for the poor swan! His feet must have been so cold on the frozen water!

If I tell Siegmar: there are some new pictures from Kirsten he comes running.
And what he said was: "Eine wirklich gute Fotografin."
I fully agree- like the atmosphere of your pictures

Amazing pictures, as always!!! You definitely need to get published and paid for your work, Kirsten!

I bet if you put together a calendar, you'd get people to buy it. Hint, hint.

Beautiful pix! Love those macro shots! That first set looks like Hoar Frost, was it? I saw the fog in the landscape shots and it matches conditions I've seen when we've had Hoar Frost.

I'd love to get a crack at some Hoar Frost myself as I now have a lens on the DSLR that will do macro.

Hey, that's a great idea! I could have a PT calendar in one room and a Kirsten calendar in another!

    Thank you.

And yes, the first ones are Hoar Frost, it's been a very cold day.

Well, having calendars printed is so expensive! I simply don't have the money. The bad thing about starting a business is that you've got to have some money to invest.

Indeed - your photos are beautiful. I loved the landscape scenes so much that I set one as my desktop wallpaper (the 2nd one in the first set). Hope you don't mind!

Those are wonderful. We had a bit of an ice cover here, too, a couple days ago. I meant to get outside and do the same thing you did. I don't know if I could have gotten any like yours, though, they are gorgeous!
