    New Year Nap

Fritz having his first nap on the new year on my knee this morning. We went to Boston Pizza, had Pizza,Mom brought home Fritz some Ham and put it in his food and he ate that.We went to see Marley And me for 6:50 last night,it was very good, all the mischief Marley got into was funny,of course in the end it got sad when he had to be put down and it reminded me of what Dad went through in putting Ruffles down in April of 2002 and I shed a few tears .Mom talking with the Aunties now,may be coming this weekend not sure, have to find out.We managed to see the new year in,Mom had a short 30 minute nap down here,Fritz was under the couch, came out at midnight. He went to bed with her was buried in a throw blanket next to her and had a hard time getting out of it this morning,he is now snoozing on the couch upstairs.Really cold here this morning, barely above 1 degree fahrenheit. They never said anything about coming this week, maybe next week the Aunties will come.

Fritz, what a PERFECT picture to start off 2009! Happy and healthy New Year to you, Barry, Mom and your family.

Barry, I was watching the Blackhawks' game this afternoon at Wrigley Field and wishing I had you to explain to me what was going on! It was very strange to see them playing hockey on the infield! They even had a ceremonial first puck like they do a first pitch at Cubs games. It was windy but no snow today, so a good day for outdoor hockey this year.

Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!
Brrrr, I've been Frosted! Thank you, Asiel and Pomtzu!

    Fritz Napping,Playing With Toy

Fritz snoozing on my leg this morning and then having a play with his new monkey stuffy after being outside and laying on the patio, was full of fresh air.Thursday afternoon Fritz, was on my lap down here in my chair, head resting on the arm of the chair while we were watching the NHL game from Wrigley Field.Had Lasagna,Coleslaw and Garlic Sticks for supper,Fritz had a little,Mince Meat Pie for dessert, had some of that too.Spent with both of us down here last night, and was under the couch, had a bone and begged for water.Went to the window before bed and then was with me,he was kicking at me this morning with his back paws.Had cereal and toast, had a play with his talking monkey.Had some Onion treats for lunch, had a batter on them and had some spices in them, something like Blooming Onions you get at the Outback Restaurant.Mom has decided now every New Year's Eve we will go to Boston Pizza and then to a movie ,there is always something playing that we both like.

WOW!!!! It's freezing there!! It's pretty warm here. I feel bad sayng that.
You are adorable Fritzie!! Glad you're getting some naps in. Keep warm and cozy. I can imagine Marley and Me will hit all of us hard. We can all relate. I would have to take a couple of boxes of tissues. Barry, I'm so glad you and Mom had a good time. I think that's a great tradition to do every year. Stay inside and keep the coats on!!

    I've been Boo'd...
    Thanks Barry!

    My Cozy Fritz

Fritz underneath a throw blanket on Mom's bed this morning, lifted the cover to get this and a little later on my bed ,his head on a pair of jogging pants,I went out to shovel a dusting of snow and this is what he was doing.I then put a sweater there and he put his head on that .he stayed on the back of the most of the time last night staring at Mom,goes to the window after going out before bed then with Mom he was under that blanket this morning.I think he is still on my bed.
thanks very much devon. I have been boo'd.

    Comfy With Mom,Begging For Toast

Fritz comfy on Mom's lap last night and begging for my toast this morning. He also spent time staring at Mom from the back of my chair, begged for bones and to go out, though I think sometimes he wants up to go to the window.Fritz first came to me and was on the bedspread, then went and jumped on Mom's bed, then got off and jumped on mine,he wandered around the bed, couldn't get comfy so he either slept on the bedspread or the carpet ,would have been warmer in.Right now,he is in the window, he was snoozing on Mom's bed while we were at church.Chance of patchy freezing rain late this afternoon into tonight,so not sure about going to the hockey game, only a 40% chance but that's enough for Mom and she won't go,so will play it by ear.
thanks very much devon. I have been boo'd.
