as painful as it is to post this I feel I need to do it for Rocky.

He did take a turn for the worse last week and died Sunday morning. We had a vet appt. scheduled yesterday for him so we could see what we could do for him but he died suddenly on Sunday morning before I went to work. I still don't want to face reality but it is sinking in now that's he's gone for good. I will post a memorial later for him, I can't bring myself to do it right now. I'll try tonight though.. but thank you so much everyone for your support.

Dear Rocky,

tomorrow is Christmas and I don't know how we're going to do it without you. I know you're here with us in spirit but when I am opening and giving out presents especially your gifts, it's going to be so hard without you sitting by my side. Of course, I am sure one of the other furkids will. They have been so good since you've been gone. Did you tell them to shape up, dear boy? Especially Rudy? Well he's still as feisty as ever and picking on your best friend, Jenny just like he used to bite your heels and your tail. He needs to respect his elders, so send him a message to behave!

I think Tiger misses you more than anything and even though he may not know why you're gone, he sure seems to know how to make me feel better. Remember how he used to rub up against you when you were out in the living room? You never growled at him and he would literally chase you all over the place! And at night you both would lay on the couch together. To every one of us, you were a treasure even the other furkids and I love you and miss you so much, dear boy. We all do.

So when Christmas comes tomorrow, I'll be thinking of you dear boy and know you're here with us in spirit. You definately stole our hearts in a big way when we got you as a pup and you stole our hearts when you left us. Not in a bad way, dear boy. I know you'll always watch out for us and our safety, just thank you dear boy for letting us be a huge part of your life. I love you and miss you so much. I have your Christmasy bandana with the ornaments on it and the blue leopard print one tucked in my pillow case, those just help me sleep better. I love you so much.
