The wet sneezing and runny eyes sounds alot like the upper respiratory virus, Herpes. A few of my cats have it and it flares up when they are stressed. When Paddy walks slowly toward Stinky with the intention of cornering her, it can set off a bout of the virus. When it does, I give them Lysine 500mg twice a day for 4 or 5 days and things really clear up. Maybe ask your vet about it. It's safe to give and might be worth a try. Though Linus might only need 1/2 a 500 cap twice a day because he is smaller.
