What a lovely thread Chris. I'm so glad you are liking where you are now, and the new pictures of Bob and Ebby! Absolutely adorable. They are such sweethearts and you take such nice pictures of them. Ebby doesn't even need to wake up to look great in a picture! Wish I had that ability.

I wrote about, and linked to some 'before' pictures, of my local park earlier in this thread and as I was ridiculously pleased to see this picture on the North-East Wales part of the BBC news site I thought I'd share it with you.


Harmony in the park - work on a bandstand, as part of a £500,000 refurbishment of Ponciau Banks Park in Wrexham. New paths, lighting and CCTV are also being installed in time for Christmas, and a skateboard park will open in the spring. Local groups and the council have worked on a long project.

Bob and I, well, I anyway, have been watching and enjoying, the progress of all the renovations whilst on our daily walk. The bandstand was completely wrecked, just a block of very worn stone remained, so this is a real improvement. Except for the odd shaped top. ;D

p.s. Note that lovely blue sky, we have had quite a lot of days like that, cold but bright. Long may they continue.
