    Luca shared his meals with the ferrets? Oh my, I couldn't continue looking at the rest of the photos, I had to stop and laugh out loud! What a pup! You must have posted that photo before I joined PT? Or maybe I just forgot about it, what ever.

    Blessings go with you, handsome boy.

    I am glad he has found a good home, and a human he immediately felt comfortable enough with to do the forehead smoosh to - that's a good sign.
    I know this was hard for you, but it is important for your own sanity, and just think what a blessing he will be in his new home as well.

    This is a wonderful tribute in photos to your handsome man. I hope he loves his new home and thrives there. It must be heartbreaking for you. {{{{{HUGS}}}}}

    I'm very sorry you're having to go through this, but I'm glad you were able to find such a good home for Luca.

    What a very lucky dog Luca is, to get not only one, but two wonderful loving homes. Everything he is will always be a part of you, too. He is so handsome and gentle, and it sounds like he already feels comfortable with his new family. Best wishes for both of you.

    Got my first update today. He sounds so happy. They had a long way to get home so part way there they stopped at a hotel and he did great with her. Sleeping on the bed and all. (Luca loves to cuddle right up). THen when they got home he ate no problem and the same with the night before. Which shows immediate bonding and trust on his part. He would always starve himself for a length of time when seperated from me. Not this time. And it took all of two minutes for him to accept the other 2 dogs. She took him to work with her yesterday where he was perfect at meeting tons of new faces.

    She promises pictures later this week. I am so proud of how well he is adjusting and how good he is behaving. I am so glad I found someone who can see what an awsome dog he is.

    Nicole, I'm so sorry. He is just stunning, what a prime example of the breed. I love the third photo. He's sounds like he's getting along fine. I know he'll be happy.
