Oh, I see. I think I'd be too terrified to lose the egg, lol. I think I'd only try it on my mint egg right now since I don't really care for that breed anyway. Who knows? I still have 5-6 days on all my eggs anyway. Thanks for the info.

Not so. I have done it successfully every single time except for once. Most people on the forums have *never* done it, and most wouldn't, but it is not high risk.

I have four dragons and four eggs...how can you go about looking at other people's scrolls without having to click on their direct link (like in the signature)? Is there a place to just browse scrolls? I know I have to have ten dragons to start rating descriptions, but I'm just wondering how to view scrolls at this point.

Thanks for that link! I was sad when the other site went down.

I haven't found a place to view a list of scrolls. You just have to click on the dragons on dragoncave.net or on dailydragonfix.com. Those are the two main sites I use. Other than that, you can go to the DC forum and find random threads. There, you can't put individual eggs/hatchlings in your signature. All you're allowed is a link to your scroll. And they're very particular about that. I've never seen a forum that enforces the rules as much as that one. It's kind of nice.

If you go to the DC Fansite, they list the scroll along with the eggs so you can click and browse if you want! Also, if you know the persons name you can go to www.dragcave.net/user/scrollname and browse that way too.

The forum is a little overwhelming, so I thought I'd ask you guys in here. One of my new eggs has a diagonal line going through it (I read that a dead egg will have a horizontal line through it). I don't recall seeing the diagonal line (it's not a jagged crack, it's a straight, clean line) before with my other four eggs. Any idea what it is? The egg has over four days left to hatch. Just curious...

Thats your egg in the first stages of hatching...perfectly ok! Check on your scroll to make sure it isn't sick though (just go to your egg and click view) if it says it is sick, just post your click/view count here and one of us could tell you whats wrong with it!

ETA: I just clicked your eggs and they are healthy You should have hatchlings soon!

It is kind of addictive! I really like watching my dragons grow, and the quest to breed alts is fun too.

    FYI:

The daily dragon fix hatchery site is back up. I use that site exclusively to get my clicks/views and its worked great so far!

Daily Dragon Fix - A Dragon Cave Fansite

If you want another site with more interaction with members (and the ability to browse scrolls if you wish) go to The DC Fansite.

    http://www.thedcfansite.com/

Both sites are great and I really cant say one is better than the other. I use DDF more because it loads faster lol.
