My 4 year old orangie just started to get a black spot on his lower lip. Upon closer examination (he meowed and yawned at breakies) I saw that he had several more of them on his top lip and inside his mouth. They don't seem to bother him at all and his nose is still quite pink. Although, now that I look at him right now, he does have some light brown freckles starting. The other day though the one onhis lip was indeed raised. The rest are not. So this worries me, but due to cash flow, I would like to figure this out as best I can before enlisting the help of our wonderful vet.
Maple has a colourful history as well. My husband and I found him all alone hiding beside a building while we were living in Cozumel, Mexico back in the summer of 2004. He looked to be about 2 weeks old, but was in actual fact closer to 4 weeks according to the American Vet we used down there! I'll try to post a couple of photos of my little "chico". (I'm new to the site, so I'm still figuring it out.)
