Sweet Squeeks! What a beautiful story about him and his wonderful life with your dad (and mom). It sounds like it was a life full of play and shelter and love, not only with his humans but with his tortie, Isabelle. The description of their hugging melted my heart. I'm sure they will meet again when she crosses the bridge. For now, he will make friends with all the others up there until it's her time.

Squeeks had a very good life, the freedom that Our Ctas crave with the security of knowing that there always a warm place for him , with the candle burning in the window.
Hes now in a place wheres hes with Our Animal Angel Army exploring the world, and hunting for that ideal place for you to be reunited.

thank you everyone for your replies. My mom is being really strong, but my dad is just a mess. I feel so badly for them. Squeeks was such a sweet boy, and was my dad's shadow.
