I have to say that the thanks go to the people that keep 'snail mail' going. Imagine all the cards that go out each day and the people that move them!

There is email, then there is the nice physical feel of an envelope and the excitement of opening it up and pulling out the card.

There are few things in life that are better than a good old fashioned letter or card you pull out of the mail box.

    -----------

How many times have you stopped in your tracks and opened up a letter/envelope that is handwritten before you get to your front door?

    It is magic!

AGREE completely!! I got Richard's card yesterday and admit I totally stopped what I was doing. Hubby brought it to me with a big grin and comment that it had handwriting!! I notice each little special touch and yes, SNAIL mail will always be special!!

I got my lovely card from MinasMomma. Those cups of hot chocolate or coffee on it are making me thirsty! Thank you!

I received my first one yesterday; from Richard & Ed.

I hope to get mine out sometime next week (I know I said that last week).. I'll work on them this weekend. I don't want to procrastinate too long; I am far too good at that!

I will be another one to agree. I have always loved receiving cards in the mail for the simple reason of getting that feeling when you are opening it. I also love trying to find a place in the house to hang them up for the holidays; and the challenge of keeping the cats from eating them during that time!

I love 'real' mail! I would encourage everyone to re-think about signing up next year. As others have posted, it is so cool to open cards from people you 'know'.

I have been forgetting to update, but we have recevied to great cards, first form Richard (complete with a pop-up Tony Stewart!) and the second from Andie. Thanks you both very much.

I ordered our cards today. Hopefully I will get them by the end og the week and out next!

Lut, thanks for putting the link in the other thread because it's sometimes hard to find this thread.

I just received my 2nd card either Friday or Sat. because I didn't go to my mailbox until Sat.. It's from Andie & Redneck Pit Lover. Thanks for the cute card.

Lut, did you receive my card yet?
