Katie, I am so glad that Andy is feeling better and starting to eat on his own! The fact that he is showing interest in playing with Amos is just great! How is Billy doing with is sore? Please tell him to feel better soon!! Miss talking to you!!

    Update-

Andy went to the vets today, and the vet said that his ear needs to be removed. It was not a hematoma ( I figured it wasnt),, but the skin was scorched, and it caused the circulation to stop, leading to dead tissue/infection. So he will be at the vets again on Tuesday at 7am.

Also, his temp was up, so we put him on metacam, to help ease the pain, and get the temp normal again. I believe it was 103.

PS- My grandmother is in the ICU, the ambulance had to get her this morning, and she had a stroke along with Pneumonia(thanks Richard, I was thinking cat Pee, dont know where my brain in lately)

They said she needs to be on oxygen, and they dont think she will pull through, but I hope she does, she is the only grandma I have ever had.. This has been the worst week of my life. The only good is that Andy is ok...

I have to go back to the hospital in about 15 minutes, but I will update about Andy again tonight If I can.

Thank you all so much again. I could not have gotten through this without you all.

Oh dear! A terrible week for you indeed. Thank you for updating us about Andy's vet appointment today. We are all very interested in his progress. But you don't worry about us. Go be with your family and we'll be here when you have time to stop in for an update on Andy and the rest of your life.

    Poor ANDY.

Thinking of you and your G-ma. Pneumonia (I took medical terminology and still have to look it up) and strokes are more treatable now, than they were before.

    Sending you out good vibes.

Oh Katie, I am in tears for you again. I am so sorry about your grandma.

I am glad Andy was okay, but sorry he must lose the ear. He will be much better after that, I'm sure.

    Thinking of you. HUGS!!!
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

I'm sorry I am just getting to replying to this... I am so so so glad Andy is doing better (it stinks about his ear and temp, poor boy) and there are continued prayers from here that he keeps getting better and for your grandmother. Having lost my grandmother reciently, I can sympathise. *HUGS*

    Dear Hannah and M.E.

Please tell your brother Andy that we are praying for him to get better and that we want to extend our prayers to your meowme too. Lots of purrs and headbumps heading your way!

Sweetheart, I'm so sorry to hear about your Grandma -- this has been just the week from Hell for you and your family, hasn't it? She and all of you will be in my prayers.

Sorry also to hear that Andy will be without his ear, but considering how very much worse his condition could have been, this is more of a speed bump than a road block on the way to recovery. I'm also certain that Andy will carry off that kind of "reckless adventurer" look very nicely, and will be every bit as roguishly handsome with one ear as he was with two!

    Love to all of you,
    Diana
There aren't too many bad spots that can't be made at least a little better by either a nap, a cat, or both.
