He looks great. Tongues heal quickly and I hope his does too. He didn't bite off bits, did he? What did the vet say about his tongue? Prayers still going out your way. Is iMOM still available?

O MY!!! One day away from the computer and I missed this incredible thread!!!! My heart just sank when I read the start of the thread!!! We all try to be so careful with these creatures, however, despite out very best efforts, they do get into some situations. We have 2 cats, Hope Simone and Nimet, who are RIGHT there when they hear the dryer door open!!! Hope Simone has hoped in(usually AFTER the clothes are dry)and will hide under the clothes. She gets very upset when I put her in the clothes basket along with the clothes. Nimet has done the very same. They are the two, that if I cannot find them, I know to look in the closets!!! They REALLY keep up on our toes!!! BUT, I am just so glad that your boy looks great, is eating, and is so happy to be HOME!!!!
Nine is Fine!!
Oh my lord, I am just reading this! Katie I am so sorry you have had to go through such a trauma, and oh Andy you poor boy, you are so brave to have gone through this. I am praying you will recover as quickly as possible. And your Meowmie loves you very much and didn't mean for anything to happen to you.
My best wishes and kisses coming your way Andy![]()
Andy is truly one blessed cat! He has one powerful guardian angel and of course so many others here sending him postive thoughts! When Katie called me Friday night hysterical, I couldn't understand anything she was saying except Andy... dryer and my heart stopped. I immediately thought of a coworker years ago whose husband didn't know there kitten was in their dryer and the kitten died. Katie was sooo panicked and upset that when I finally understood what had happened I was trying to help calm her down but really don't feel I did. She was speeding to the vet with him and I was scared to death she was going to kill herself driving in the condition. I told her I would call my vet to see if there was any advice that she could give to Katie until she got to the vet. I hoped that hearing what a vet said would help her. Katie and I met here on Pet Talk and we have become best friends. We talk almost daily. We are like sisters. I feel her cats are my cats too. So I felt her pain and I didn't know how to help. Katie, I wish I could have helped you more. I am sooo thankful that Andy is ok and looking so good after what happened to him. And I know how you are going to be for the rest of your life over this. But, you have to let go of the guilt and not blame yourself. The important thing is Andy is ok.
And to all that have offered help, that is so generous of you. Katie really appreciates it. I know she is going to kill me for what I am going to say next but here goes, Katie doesn't like to ask for anything and I know this bill is already way more than she can handle. She will tell you that she will be able to figure something out just because she hates the thought of having to take money from anyone. But she could really use the help no matter what she says.
I am getting ready to call her to see how things are going today. We talked until late last night. She was so happy and relieved Andy was home. He ate the baby food and wanted more. he tried to jump on stuff but couldn't quite make it.
Prayers to you both.
Love Melissa
Katie, what a difference between the "arriving at the vet's" pictures and the "arriving back home" ones! So good to see him back where he belongs, with those who love him most giving him the tenderest, lovingest care.
I'll be glad to contribute too.. Would someone please let me know where to send a check or a Paypal donation? Thanks.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

I read about what happened this morning and couldn't bring myself to reply.
I also told my mom about it and she said she'll be sending prayers your way also.
I'm so glad to hear about the good update and to hear that he's home. I hope he keeps getting better day by day![]()

I'm so sorry to see this has happened, but don't beat yourself up about it, it was a tragic accident.
It's good to see Andy survived and is home now. He looks good on the pictures.![]()
Give him lots of love and cuddles.![]()
