I will miss you forever, my sweet Scooter Bug. You were my best friend. 9/21/1995 - 1/23/2010
Goodbye, Oreo. Gone too soon. 4/2003 - 9/12/2011.
Farewell & Godspeed, sweet Jadie Francine. You took a piece of my heart with you. 11/2002 - 8/8/2016
Charlie kitty, aka: Mr. Meowy. Our home is far too silent now. 2003-6/14/2018
Positive thoughts going out for Taz and Taggert too! You KNOW I KNOW how hard it is not to feed them in the morning. Did Taz open his mouth real wide to remind you? LOL!As for "when it rains,it pours"...We have had 1 emergency vet visit for Bean, Moon's teeth cleaned/extracted and Sunny had been to the vet around 6 times all in the past 2 months. I have to remember to ask my vets which colleges they want me to send their kids to.

LOL, no he didn't open his mouth like that. He just would run in front of me toward his feeding area meowing. And when I didn't follow he'd come back and meow at me some more.
UPDATE: The vet just called and he came through surgery just fine. They are going to send the capsules out to be evaluated. I did ask about the possibilities of cancer and she said she's 99.9999999% sure it's not cancer. She said if he keeps doing as well as he is now that he might get to go home in the morning. Woo Hoo!! This will still be a long night though.
Oh, the doctor also told me her Golden has to have surgery tomorrow too. They found a thyroid tumor in her throat. She was having a MRI for something else when they found it. So the fact that they found it soon is a good thing. I'll be thinking of them tomorrow.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Yaay! I bet Taz will be feeling way more comfy. If they were able to use smaller incisions, he will feel better.
Looking forward to update pics of your baby!
I hope her Golden does okay - prayers that the surgery fixes everything.
"Do or do not. There is no try." -- Yoda
Oh yeah, Candace, I forgot to mention that I did ask this morning when I dropped him off how the incision(s) would be. She said one incision approx 3 to 4 inches. This was the vet tech and it's what she "thought". So I guess I'll see when he gets home tomorrow.I'm so excited!!! (but still a little nervous too)
I will have to get the room ready for him tonight, because Bruce will probably be picking him up for me. My supervisor will not be in tomorrow, so I have to be here.
I will update again once he is home.

Yay!! So glad he came through surgery and that the vet is 99.99% sure it's not cancer!
Hope he'll get to come home tomorrow and be pampered, and that Taggart will be ok too. How's his cough?? (do they actually cough with kennel cough??)
Yes, they cough. And it's a gagging sounding cough. He started it last night. Because I let him sleep on the big bed with us...hee hee. She slept right between us with his head the same direction as ours. And I could hear a little congestion in his nose and of course the cough. He has also been sneezing quite a bit. And I'm wondering if he's allergic to our grass or something.
Well, I guess I can start a thread in Dog General about this. LOL
