You are very brave not only telling us this but working to get out of this situation. There is so much information out there on abuse than there ever was and it is much easier to understand how it begins and why it continues. Again it is very brave for you to get out and start over as scary as that is. You can always turn to us - none of us wants to see anyone continuing in an abusive situation and everyone needs a safe place to talk.
