He got to go in the crate with Beatle and they both just dryed off for awhile. Then I got Beatle out to finish drying her.
When she was dry she got a thorough brushing and was released to go plot her revenge.
Then it was Flea's turn.
After he got his brushing he went to join Beatle to see what she had thought of for revenge. I think I will be sleeping with one eye open for the next little while...![]()
*Thanks Ashley*
WOW, your cats are easy going!! You say "hold them with 1 hand"?? Oh my, I have to use both and ask someone else to risk his life by getting the cat washed![]()
I miss you enormously Sydney, Maya, Inka & ZazouBe happy there at the Rainbow Bridge
I see some serious airplane ears! I'd hide the shoes for awhile!![]()
I've been finally defrosted by cassiesmom!

I was also going to comment on those airpalne ears but smokey the elder beat me to it.
You are one BRAVE Lady! I have never and will never attempt to bathe mine! I would not have any arms left when I got done with the first one. Beatle looks like he is a hudge cat and could have tore you up.. You are BRAVE!!!
It looks like you have done that before and have a great set up for those times so my guess is you have a lot of experience and have done this before, but it is clear to see, they were not happy and I would be scared of the revenge part... I had one that when I treated her for fleas, and turned her loose, she would run streight to my daughters bed and pee all over it..
Special Needs Pets just leave bigger imprints ♥ on your heart!
Flea looks like he tolerated it a lot more than Beatle did.
I've bathed Taz once or twice in his 13 years and that was only because we had a flea infestation in the house. That's not something I'd decide to do on a boring weekend.
Well, it was nice to see your kitties anyway. Even if you were "torturing" them.![]()
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.
Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Oh goodness! Sincere thanks to Cam for snapping such terrific photos!
Prior to getting the dogs,I used to bathe my cats every other month. I have seen each and every one of those expressions on Beat's face! Oh yes, that does bring it all back to me.
I only used the tub a few times, too hard on my knees and back (I think you are younger than me!) I use the kitchen sink, it has the sprayer as well.
Flea does appear to be much more tolerant, glad you have different temperaments to cope with! Thanks for a wonderful photo thread.
.
impressive...
I convert into an octopus when trying to bath my dogs.... I hav eno clue how you did it with one hand and for kitties!!...
Beatle has some serious mad plan against you.. I can see it in her eyes.. LOL
Flea is so tolerant... well a bit more that Bea...
thay both are sooo cute!!

Thanks for the comments everyone.
Heehee, Beatle is huge. She is 18 pounds. If you had told me 2 and a half years ago that I would be able to bathe her and cut her nails I would have thought you were crazy. When Cam and I first started dating she used to stalk me around his apartment. I left there bleeding many times. Since we moved in together though she has learned to tolerate me quite well. I can do whatever I want to her. That was Beatle's 3rd bath and Flea's 2nd.
I will pass on your compliments of the photos to Cam. He told me to make sure he got credit for them... lolI am a groomer and I have a shop in my house. The tub in the pics you saw is a normal tub, but it is raised to chest level, so no stooping over.
Flea is a lot more easy going in general due to his upbringing I think. Beatle led a more sheltered life for the first 2 years of her life... just her and her dad. Flea was brought up with 3 dogs and 1 cat... and many visitors...![]()
*Thanks Ashley*
This is what I think about having a bath ... PHTHFFFFTH!

I can see by the pics there was alot of protest from Beatle, that is too cute. Flea is adorable as well. I love kitty torture pics haha.
