Thread: Why people should NOT steal others political signs...

    "...That's what I keep thinking - do the signs really matter in the end?...."
    maybe not for the top of the ticket, but the name recognition for the down ballot names does help. i have a sign for a county commissioner candidate in my yard. three weeks ago a neighbor, who i haven't spoken to except for "hi how ya doin, nice day" stuff asked me about my candidate, so yes, i think it can help.

    It's worked that way for me too. Every 2 years I post the same sign for
    a candidate for state office. It's a 2yr term office. I've gotten a lot of
    questions & been able to provide info on the candidate. It does make a
    difference sometimes.

    Well, I guess I can understand that - for local candidates. For presidents though, you'd have to be living under a rock to not recognize the names of the people running
